"Pathetic experience. Absolutely not recommended. Reaching Canopy Bar itself is a nightmare—no proper directions, total chaos. If it weren’t for a few kind strangers, we wouldn’t have reached at all. Now coming to the only decent part: the food. We ordered chicken chilli, which was just about okay. The mushroom tikka was a complete disaster—half-cooked and clearly rushed. Service was horrible. No one bothered to attend us when we entered. We literally had to ask the manager just to get basic drinking water. That says everything about their hospitality. The biggest shock came when we were told that the Swiggy offer was no longer valid for alcohol, despite it being clearly advertised. This is nothing short of misleading customers. Ambience was dull and lifeless. The so-called major attraction—the pool—was empty, making the place feel abandoned rather than premium. Overall, terrible management, poor service, misleading offers, and zero customer care. Definitely not worth the time, money, or effort. Would not visit again."

The confusion started right from the start. After parking in the basement, the lack of proper signage made navigating to the right elevator challenging. A key tip for visitors: the Canopy Rooftop Pool Bar and Lounge is on the 14th floor—make sure you hit the right button on the lift! Let's start with the best part: the food. The culinary experience was genuinely outstanding. We ordered a mix of Continental and Tandoori dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The kitchen staff and chef deserve all the praise; the quality of the ingredients and preparation is easily five-star and makes the visit worthwhile just for the meal. However, the enjoyment was severely marred by the lack of pest control. As the evening progressed, the mosquitoes became unbearable—it felt like they were actively sucking our blood the entire time we ate. It was impossible to relax and enjoy the setting when we were constantly swatting, which is a major drawback for any rooftop bar claiming to be a premium lounge. The overall ambiance also needed attention. The video screen was a strange distraction, showing fast-forwarded, choppy glimpses of hotel rooms and the pool. Speaking of the pool area, despite being a key feature of the Canopy Rooftop Pool Bar, the water was visibly not that clean, which really detracted from the aesthetic. Overall, the Canopy Rooftop Pool Bar and Lounge offers some of the best Tandoori and Continental food in the area, but management desperately needs to address the severe mosquito problem and the general cleanliness of the pool. They also need to invest in better directional signage from the basement parking and in the lift lobby. If those basic maintenance and logistics issues are fixed, this place would be an undeniable five-star destination."

Having visited the Canopy Pool Bar & Lounge twice, I noticed a clear divide in the experience: • The Positives: The ambiance is lovely, and the starters are reliably tasty and skillfully prepared, making each appetizer a pleasant surprise. • The Negatives: Average dish serving quantity and cutlery. The non-vegetarian main courses are average at best. Sadly, the non-vegetarian mains like Chicken Rara and Chicken Malai Tikka didn't meet expectations and were quite disappointing. Value-wise, due to the inconsistency in food quality—particularly the underwhelming main courses—it’s best to visit only if you can get a 60% discount or better."

"⭐ 1/5 - Very disappointing experience Visited Canopy Pool Side Restaurant near Gaur City Mall after seeing a 60% discount listed on Swiggy and Zomato. But once we reached there, we were asked if we came through Swiggy/Zomato, and then were given a different menu with inflated prices — completely defeating the purpose of the discount. This is misleading and feels like a cheap marketing trick. We ordered pizza and chilli garlic noodles. The food was okay at best — nothing memorable. Basic condiments like chilli flakes and oregano were not provided until we asked, and when we requested chilli sauce for the noodles, they simply said they don’t have it. Really? No shakes or cold coffee were available either. And don’t expect the Swiggy/Zomato discount to apply on alcoholic drinks — it doesn’t. The atmosphere could’ve helped, but it made things worse. Since it’s on the rooftop, there's no proper shelter if it rains. We experienced this firsthand and had nowhere to go. Overall, this was a very bad experience. If you can’t honour a discount, don’t list it. Misleading customers with fake offers just to get them in the door is not a sustainable or honest way to do business."
